My passion
I’ve spent most of my career in the third sector and charity fundraising in particular and it’s been a privilege to see the incredible things people can achieve when they are passionate about a goal and motivated to make a difference. I’ve also learnt how important it is to celebrate every penny, pound, and achievement along the way but that raising funds for charity is so much more than the final total.
As I launch headfirst into a career change, I cannot wait to acknowledge and appreciate the small steps that will hopefully let me take this big leap.
My story
This is my first time working back in an office space for nearly ten years, and it has been a revelation! Living with my three-year old son and four-year old daughter, it has shone a light on the lack of adult conversation at home. I’m thoroughly enjoying expanding my conversational repertoire. However, if you do want to know if there is Room on the Broom, why it’s not really paddling pool weather in February or whether a pre-schooler can have Super Gekko Muscles, then I’m very much your woman.
