Business challenges
Having built up a successful student accommodation block in the heart of Bournemouth, Craig and Sam the founders of Union House were looking to bring greater insight and understanding to how the business could be more efficiently run to meet their aspirations. The business created an opportunity to realise the rewards of the work to date and also to provide resources for Craig & Sam to develop further other business opportunities. The single biggest challenge was that they did not have accurate control and visibility of the business performance month-by-month.
How Altitude is helping
Altitude were engaged by Craig and Sam to set about providing the clarity of performance and assist in the business planning. Through our expertise in Cloud accounting software, we were able to recommend and implement Xero as a solution. We enabled them to transition all invoices to Xero, manage student debts and produce accurate monthly reports. We were also able to implement FUTRLI to produce a fully integrated P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow to enable the business to manage performance and monitor cash flow in real-time. Through technology and expertise, Union House was able to get to grips with its performance and potential, whilst being able to and plan and manage its future opportunity.
